Love it. Thank you, Tom! Staying up that late to write is not something I would want to put into practice every day but if you can’t sleep anyway, why not write?

As a side note: have you heard of bimodal sleep? Some people say that humans used to sleep in two blocks of time (called “first sleep” and “second sleep”), with an awake period in the middle of the night.

That sleeping model would work well with this writing advice.
