Victoria, I loved this nugget about the power of purpose in there:

“Not surprisingly then, does a research study show that individuals who have a sense of purpose are more likely to be immune to a rush of self-esteem that comes with online likes and comments.”

It seems to me that feeling purposeful helps with keeping the ultimate goal in mind, and with not getting lost in approval (or disapproval). Basically, to know why you’re doing something. And how many truly important things have ever been done just so we could share them on social media?
