Wonderful article.

I love this:

If we don’t choose the things that give meaning to our life, all the other everyday stuff will set the meaning for our life. And extracting our life’s meaning just from everyday happenings sets us adrift and puts us at risk.

I’m not sure if I recall this properly from reading Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning” but I think one of the things that helped him get through the devastating experience of being in a concentration camp was a manuscript that he wanted to finish.
